As announced during the registration process, for this event at the main temple of Dhagpo Kundreul Ling, we have the capacity to welcome a maximum of 1200 people. Increasing our capacity to host large-scale events is part of our future plans. For safety reasons, we cannot offer additional tickets.

Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, will be visiting his center Dhagpo Kundreul Ling this summer.

Empowerment of Manjushri

Thayé Dorje, the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, will bestow the initiation of Manjushri “Lion’s Roar,” embodying discernment and compassionate love.

As part of the transmission cycle of Chikché Kundreul, compiled by the 9th Karmapa Wangchuk Dorje, this initiation is integrated into the establishment and deepening of the study and practice curriculum in all centers of the Dhagpo mandala.

Registration

For this event, we have the capacity to welcome 1200 people.

Increasing our capacity to host large-scale events is part of our future plans. For smooth organization and comfortable hosting, we invite you to register online.

For safety reasons, we cannot offer additional seats. It will therefore not be possible to attend the teachings without registration.

Contribution

A single ticket is on sale. It includes:

  • Both days of teaching.
  • Lunches on June 29th and 30th.

    It is possible to purchase your ticket at the following rates:

    • Support: Your contribution helps make the Dharma accessible to as many people as possible and contributes to the organization of such events.
    • Standard: Your contribution supports the maintenance of our quality of service.

    The event is free for children under 13: to reserve and pay for their meal, please contact the reception office.

    Terms and Conditions

    Group Registrations

    If you wish to attend the teaching with your closed ones, it is advisable to purchase tickets together in a single order.

    Location

    To allow as many people as possible to access the temple, we have organized a rotation between the two event spaces: the temple and the tent. Upon arrival, you will receive a colored wristband based on the number on your ticket. This wristband will determine your group and location for each half-day session.

    Ticket

    To access the main temple and the tent, we will ask you to present your ticket. You will receive your ticket by email within minutes of your payment.

    People with disabilities

    Parking spaces and designated areas during instruction will be reserved for people with disabilities. Please notify it upon arrival.

    Parent-Child Area

    An area will be set up for parents with children. In this area, adults can follow the teaching with their children. Quiet activities will be available. If you prefer to be in the main teaching tent, we ask you to keep your child on your cushion or lap. Seats are reserved for those with an entrance ticket.

    Meals

    Lunches are included in the event registration. We will not offer breakfast or dinner on-site.

    The menus are vegetarian.

    During the event both savory and sweet snacks will be available, including the first chocolates from the Temple Workshops, made by the community. Come savor them and learn about the launch of this activity!

    Accomodation

    It will not be possible to stay on-site during the event. The green spaces around Dhagpo Kundreul Ling will be arranged as parking areas: camping on-site will therefore not be possible.

     

    Camping cars

    A parking space will be arranged on a nearby plot of land near Dhagpo Kundreul Ling.

    Accommodations outside of Dhagpo Kundreul Ling

    Translation

    The teaching will be given in English and translated into French.

    Dhagpo Kundreul Ling provides headsets, available for loan at the main temple. It will thus be possible to follow the teachings in German, Spanish, Italian, and Russian.

    If you require translation of the teaching, please indicate it during registration.

    Support

    As a living place for a community of monastic and lay practitioners, the site welcomes all those who wish to visit. It offers everyone the opportunity to discover, learn, and deepen the teachings of the Buddha.

    Supporting the site helps to sustain and develop its activities, so that it continues to be a resource for future generations.
